   Destruction magicka consumes fuel know as "distrutica" [similar to mana]. You start off with just one distructica which is enough to cast the basic spell "break". The more you use destruction spells, the more your distructica will increase. Higher level spells require more fuel to cast.

As with most magicka, destruction starts off with just one basic spell at the novice level. The novice spell "Break" is quite handy especially for fighting against spiritual beings that cannot be punched or kicked or shot. Once the novice spell is mastered three intermediate spells are introduced and so on. Next three expert level spells and then finally the master spell "smog" which is extremely destructive, but can only work against one individual being at a time. Destruction is a little tricky to master but as with all magic, once you get the hang of it, its quite easy. :) . If you're absolutely unsure of how it works, try it on yourself, but be careful. Try to cast it gently at first, and you may want to learn some healing spells or reversals in case you really hurt yourself. Its not recommended that you cast a destruction spell on yourself unless you absolutely must feel how it works for yourself. however you use this, please don't go crazy and just attack everything. Practice it carefully and it will serve you well.

Ah yes. There are other ways to use destruction medically: surgically or for clearing away dead or decaying tissue or contaminants.
